The WHO Regional Committee for Europe is WHO’s decision-making body in the European Region. It comprises representatives of each Member State in the Region, and meets for 4 days in September each year.

Day 4 highlights: Countries commit to strengthening the use of evidence and research in policy-making
On the final day of RC66, Member States approved a European action plan for the prevention and control of NCDs, complementing global and earlier Regional plans. The adoption of an action plan on strengthening the use of evidence and research in policy-making will also ensure that evidence, information and research are used in all policy-making agendas.
