Anna Sagan

Anna Sagan is a Research Fellow at the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies. She is author and editor of Observatory studies, Health Systems in Transition (HiT) reviews, and Health Systems and Policy Monitor country profiles. Anna also works on rapid responses and policy briefs. Her recent research has been on private health insurance, health-care financing, skill-mix and emergency care, among others. Anna obtained her master’s degree in economics at the London School of Economics. Before joining the Observatory, Anna worked as a Consultant at the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development in Geneva, as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Berne and in the financial services industry in London.
