Gemma Williams

Gemma Williams is a Technical Officer at the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies. She is a contributing author and editor of Observatory studies, the Country Profile series, policy briefs and rapid responses. Her research focuses on health financing, health behaviours, health inequalities, ageing, public health, and migrant and refugee health. She holds a master’s degree in international development from the University of Amsterdam and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Sheffield. Before joining the Observatory, Gemma worked as a Research Officer at LSE Health and as an ODI Fellow Health Economist in the Rwandan Ministry of Health.
