Strengthening the capacity of mental health professionals and user associations in South-eastern Europe
The WHO/Europe Mental Health programme will participate in the Regional Meeting of South-eastern Europe (SEE) Health Network Mental Health Counterparts, to be held in Belgrade, Serbia on 22-23 March. This meeting brings together national mental health coordinators from the SEE countries as well as representatives of WHO/Europe and experts in the field of mental health.
The meeting aims to create a common vision for the planned activities regarding implementation of the project proposal on Strengthening the Capacity of the Mental Health Professionals and Capacities of the User Associations, awarded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. The draft of the WHO European Mental Health Strategy will be presented and will provide an opportunity for the national mental health coordinators from the SEE countries to provide feedback.
The meeting is hosted by the Government of Serbia, and organized by the Regional Health Development Centre on Mental Health in SEE (RHDC).
