National TB control programme managers meetings/Wolfheze Workshops
The Wolfheze Workshop is the annual meeting of national tuberculosis (TB) control programme managers from countries in the WHO European Region, laboratory experts, WHO/Europe and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC). It usually takes place back to back with the meetings of the European TB surveillance network because the output of the network – i.e. the data on TB in the Region – is the input for discussion at the Workshop, which focuses on a specific theme each year.
The Wolfheze Workshops are a platform for TB policy-makers and researchers to discuss critical interventions towards elimination of TB in the Region. They are organized by the KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation, in collaboration with WHO/Europe and ECDC. The Workshops offer an excellent opportunity for stakeholders in national TB programmes, WHO/Europe and ECDC to meet with policy-makers and to share experience between countries across the Region.
