Smoking cessation

Percentages of smokers who attempted to quit in the past 12 months were:

  • 35.1% in Poland
  • 32.1% in the Russian Federation
  • 44.8% in Turkey
  • 40.5% in Ukraine.

Percentages of adult smokers who considered quitting because of a label with a textual health warning were:

  • 17.7% in Poland
  • 31.7% in the Russian Federation
  • 46.5% in Turkey
  • 57.9% in Ukraine.
