A national transport, health and environment action plan (NTHEAP) is a key mechanism for developing sustainable and healthy transport in a country. The manual provides practical advice on each of the phases (and the steps that comprise them) in an NTHEAP and highlights good practices from the European Region.
This report encapsulates the past 12 years of progress made under THE PEP since its launch in 2002. THE PEP encourages transport policy-makers and urban spatial planners to consider the environmental and health impacts of transport and mobility.
