Moscow training course on the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases in the countries of central Asia and eastern Europe

A unique training course for the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) has been developed jointly by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, and the World Health Organization.
The training course is aimed at high-level health policy makers from central Asia and eastern Europe. Teams of Russian and international experts were responsible for creating the course, including ministers and policy makers, epidemiologists, evidence-based medicine specialists, and demographers. The course will be held at the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University.
