Autumn School on Health Information and Evidence for Policy-making
26–30 October 2015, Moscow, Russian Federation
Participants of the third Autumn School will explore the steps between data and policy recommendations. Topics will use real national data as much as possible and include:
- public health indicators
- Health 2020
- monitoring health inequalities
- learning about tools and good practice.
The course is aimed at public health experts working at the interface of health information/evidence and policy. The Autumn School is organized by WHO/Europe's Division of Information, Evidence, Research and Innovation. It is an important element in the European Health Information Initiative and a key implementation tool for Health 2020 in the WHO European Region.
The 2014 Autumn School took place in Poland, and the inaugural Autumn School in 2013 took place in Turkey. This year, 16 countries will be taking part including the host, the Russian Federation.
