Strengthening good governance and aid effectiveness to achieve universal health coverage
In partnership with the European Commission and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg, WHO is co-organizing an event from 14:15–15:30 on 15 June: Strengthening good governance and aid effectiveness to achieve universal health coverage.
This session will provide an opportunity to:
- understand the interdependence of health and development;
- gain insight into the implementation of the EU-Luxembourg-WHO Universal Health Coverage Partnership in 28 countries to support dialogue on national health policies, strategies and plans to promote universal health coverage; and
- learn from international experts about the results of the Partnership, including challenges and lessons learned.

On 15–16 June join WHO staff at their stand in the EDD Village to take the #UHC Quiz, visit the UHC Wall and participate in the Rubik's cube speed competition.
Talk to the experts
At 16:00 on 15 June, experts from the EU-Luxembourg-WHO Universal Health Coverage Partnership will be available to share insights into best practices in their countries and answer questions. The event will take place at the WHO stand in the EDD Village.
