Screening and brief interventions toolkit meeting
10 June 2016, Copenhagen, Denmark
An expert advisory group on alcohol will meet to discuss and provide feedback on the draft content of a train-the-trainer screening and brief interventions (SBI) toolkit. The aim of this SBI toolkit is to provide primary health care systems in WHO European Member States with a toolkit to develop and expand their capacity to deliver SBI in primary health care settings.
WHO/Europe is also aiming to raise awareness among European primary care practitioners on SBI, and to equip SBI trainers and practitioners with the key tools to develop SBI training and delivery systems within primary health care networks. The work is financially supported by the European Commission and the Russian Federation. The meeting is by invitation only.
