European Immunization Week 2018
23–29 April 2018
The European Region celebrates European Immunization Week (EIW) to raise awareness of the importance of immunization for people’s health and well-being. EIW 2018 will focus on immunization as an individual right and shared responsibility to help close immunization gaps and further progress towards the global Sustainable Development Goals.

Vaccines protect people of all ages from potentially serious diseases. On 23–29 April 2018, European Immunization Week (EIW) is celebrated across the WHO European Region to raise awareness of the critical role vaccines play in protecting public health, and to remind each person to do their part to immunize Europe.
