The Member States in the WHO European Region adopted the European strategy for child and adolescent health and development in 2005. Sixteen countries have developed or are developing their own strategies and/or action plans. In 2008, WHO/Europe published a report, a survey and case studies that evaluated progress and best practice across the Region, and continues to assist Member States with implementation.
