WHO/Europe receives support from well-known people who help us to promote public health in the European Region. In 2005, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark agreed to become Patron of WHO/Europe and, in March 2011, Mrs Sandra Roelofs, the First Lady of Georgia was appointed WHO Goodwill Ambassador for the health-related Millennium Development Goals in the European Region.
