WHO supports Member States in defining and managing mobility policies that are beneficial to health by developing methods and tools to assess the health impact of transport. The development of such methods and tools is also part of the activities within the priority areas of the pan-European programme on transport, environment and health (THE PEP).
Activities in this area are carried out in collaboration with the WHO/Europe's programme on health impact assessment methods and strategies and within THE PEP.
